Biography

Karen Bleifer, Gemologist

My name is Karen Bleifer and welcome to my special "gem." I have been in the jewelry business for over 20 years and specialize in custom design.

I am a Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America (1983) and an "affiliate" of the American Gem Society furthering my GIA education.

Until recently, I worked in retail, including 11 years managing and designing at a well-known jewelry store. Starting my own business, KB Ltd., stemmed from the desire to do something more personal, unique, and specialized.

My mission is to provide a service and a product at a very reasonable price, affording everyone the opportunity to have the jewelry of their dreams. I offer full services including appraisals and jewelry repairs. House calls are not even out of the question!
